Will I need to leave my vehicle?

If you have active symptoms, we recommend both the Rapid Antigen Test, for quick results, and the Saliva PCR test to confirm the Rapid Antigen Test results.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment is needed, drive-ups are welcome.You are able to schedule an appointment by clicking “Book Now” on our website. Please use our Live Chat feature on our website if you need assistance.

What are the benefits of doing both the Saliva PCR and Rapid Antigen tests?

If you have active symptoms, we recommend both the Rapid Antigen Test, for quick results, and the Saliva PCR test to confirm the Rapid Antigen Test results.

From what email address will the test results be sent?

Notification of your test result will come directly from our partner lab, GoPath Labs. The email message will have the Subject line: “GoPath Labs COVID Testing Report” and have been sent by image of admin at gopathdx . com - Please be sure to monitor your email inbox and your junk folder for this email.

Do I need a doctor referral?

No doctor referral is needed.

What type of tests do you have and how are the tests performed?

We have both Rapid Antigen and Saliva PCR Tests. You will give yourself the test with our contactless guidance. Our rapid test is performed via nasal swab. The swab is placed 1 inch into the nostril and gently rotated. Our Saliva PCR test is performed by spitting into a small test tube. We also offer a Rapid Antibody Test with a simple finger prick. The entire process from finger prick to obtaining your results is 20 minutes.

Will it be painful?

Our Rapid Antigen test has been reported to not cause discomfort. The swab is inserted approximately 1 inch which would typically not cause pain or discomfort. Our Saliva PCR test involves simply spitting into a tube and may be the preferred test for those who are not comfortable with a nasal swab.

How long does it take? When will I receive my results?

The Rapid Antigen test takes approximately 30 seconds. Wait for your results within 15 min or drive away and receive your results within 2 hours via email notification. Our Saliva PCR test takes approximately 3-7 minutes. You will receive your results via email within 24-72 hours. PCR Tests taken Monday through Thursday before 10 AM, process faster and have typically had results next day.

What is the cost of the tests? Will my insurance/ medicare pay for the test?

Our Saliva PCR test is $125 without insurance and $59 with insurance. All insurance plans are accepted. The cost of the Rapid Antigen test is $125. No insurance is accepted for this test.

Can I bring others with me to get tested?

Yes. We offer a discounted price for multiple tests in a single vehicle.

Do you offer large group discounts for offices, schools, or other facilities?

What ages do you test?

Patients over 5 years old and who are able to spit on demand can take the Saliva PCR test.The Rapid Antigen test can be used on infants and children (by caregiver) of any age.

What if my results are positive?

Will my results allow me to travel internationally?

Can I provide my test results to my employer or school?

Yes, a link to official report will be emailed through a secure patient portal. You may share this report as needed.

Why should I get an antibody test?

An Antibody test confirms if your body produced a response to either the immunization or actual infection. Research shows that the risk of getting COVID-19 once you have developed antibodies is very low. Knowing if antibodies are present in your blood will help you make important decisions about returning to physical workplaces, school attendance, and other activities.

When should I get an Antibody Test?

Between 3-4 weeks and 3 months from recovering from illness.

How does COVID-19 antibody testing work?

Antibody tests detect immune system proteins made in response to a specific foreign substance or infectious agent, such as SARS-CoV-2. The test will detect circulating antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, regardless of whether you have had COVID-19 symptoms in the past. Our antibody test specifically detects Spike protein antibodies, which decreases the chance of false positive results.The test requires a simple finger prick.

What antibody test do you use and what is the accuracy?

We use the Assure Tech FaStep brand. This test is one the highest performing lateral flow assays on the market. Validated by an FDA clinical study, the tests have demonstrated 98.9% Sensitivity and 95.0% Specificity.

How long will the test take and when will I know my results?

The antibody test takes under 1 minute to administer with results in 15 minutes

What are antibodies?

Antibodies are created by the immune system to fight infection. Our rapid Antigen test detects both IGG and IGM antibodies. IGM and IGG antibodies form in about 12 days after infection with SARS CoV-2. IGM antibody levels drop rapidly, and IGG antibodies remain for at least 3 months. Antibodies form even if you were asymptomatic and unaware you were infected.

What does it mean if I have antibodies to SARS CoV-2?

Having IGG antibodies indicates that you are protected against serious illness if infected by the current dominant strain of SARS CoV-2 virus in the area.
