Do I need an appointment?

Yes, an appointment is required. You are able to schedule an appointment by clicking “Book Now” on our website. Please use our Live Chat feature on our website if you need assistance.

What are the benefits of doing both the Saliva PCR and Rapid Antigen tests?

If you have active symptoms, we recommend both the Rapid Antigen Test, for quick results, and the Saliva PCR test to confirm the Rapid Antigen Test results.

From what email address will the test results be sent?

For Saliva PCR tests, notification of your test result will come directly from our partner lab, Simple Labs. For all rapid tests, notifcation of your test result will come directly from or COVID Diagnostics email address: info@covid19-diagnostics.com. Please be sure to monitor your email inbox and your junk folder for results.

Do I need a doctor referral?

No doctor referral is needed.

What type of tests do you have and how are the tests performed?

We have Rapid PCR, Rapid Antigen and Saliva PCR Tests, as well as offer a combo Rapid COVID-19 Antigen with Flu A and B detection test. You will give yourself the test with our contactless guidance. Our rapid tests are performed via nasal swab. The swab is placed 1 inch into the nostril and gently rotated. Our Saliva PCR test is performed by spitting into a small test tube.

Will it be painful?

Our Rapid Antigen test has been reported to not cause discomfort. The swab is inserted approximately 1 inch which would typically not cause pain or discomfort. Our Saliva PCR test involves simply spitting into a tube and may be the preferred test for those who are not comfortable with a nasal swab.

How long does it take? When will I receive my results?

The Rapid Antigen test takes approximately 30 seconds. Wait for your informal results within 15-30 min or drive away and receive your offical results within 1-3 hours via email notification. Rapid Nasal PCR Test takes approximately 30 seconds and results are available with 1-2 hours. Our Saliva PCR test takes approximately 3-7 minutes. You will receive your results via email within 1-2 days.

What is the cost of the tests? Will my insurance/ medicare pay for the test?

Our Saliva PCR test is $125 without insurance and $59 with insurance. All insurance plans are accepted. The cost of the Rapid Antigen test is $99. The cost of the Rapid PCR test is $225. No insurance is accepted for Rapid tests.

Can I bring others with me to get tested?

Yes. We offer a discounted price for multiple tests in a single vehicle.

Do you offer large group discounts for offices, schools, or other facilities?

Yes. We offer workplace testing, business accounts, and bulk testing discounts. Please email us at info@covid19-diagnostics.com with any inquiries.

What ages do you test?

Patients over 5 years old and who are able to spit on demand can take the Saliva PCR test. The Rapid Antigen test and Rapid PCR test can be used on infants and children (by caregiver) of any age.

What if my results are positive?

Will my results allow me to travel internationally?

Saliva PCR and Rapid Nasal PCR test results can generally be used when traveling internationally. We advise that you check with the airline and country websites. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/testing-air-travel.html

Can I provide my test results to my employer or school?

Yes, a link to official report will be emailed through a secure patient portal. You may share this report as needed.
